The Sustainability Committee of the Peruvian-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIPF), of which Microsol is a member, began its management for this year with ambitious objectives..

On Thursday, March 6, the first meeting of the Sustainability Committee of the Peruvian French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIPF) was held, an initiative to address issues of Corporate Social Responsibility, promote good practices and concrete actions to achieve them. Following its strong commitment to sustainability, Microsol as an active member of the committee participated in this meeting represented by its General Manager Yanna Gruel. In this session the committee’s general objectives and the main issues and challenges faced by member companies were presented, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement and development.

During this first meeting, the difficulties in finding services and products that comply with sustainability standards, a challenge that cuts across all sectors, were discussed. The participants were able to express their points of view on the subject and jointly define an action plan to efficiently address this problem.

The proposed actions include the development of a roadmap with clear objectives and strategies, including a pilot training project for suppliers with the aim of promoting change through knowledge, showing the benefits of having certifications and implementing sustainable practices in operations.

These proposals are aimed not only at providing benefits to member companies, they also will have an indirect impact on external companies by creating learning spaces for suppliers in different areas, promoting the improvement of their work and their commitment to sustainability.

Through this, the CCIPF Sustainability Committee provides a space for the exchange of experiences and knowledge among companies with a view to contributing in a planned and sustained way to the promotion of opportunities and good practices for a more sustainable future.
