Both institutions expect to carry out mitigation, adaptation and renewable energy projects.
On April 25, 2025, in Lima, Microsol and the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) signed a framework agreement that will facilitate the development of innovation, research, training and dialogue initiatives related to climate change mitigation and adaptation.
The representatives of both organizations established the roadmap for joint work within the framework of this agreement and defined its scope with the objective of strengthening their actions in climate training and management.
As part of this objective, they will promote the creation of multi-stakeholder and inter-institutional dialogue roundtables, including representatives from the public and private sectors, on climate change mitigation and adaptation, greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction, renewable energy, clean cooking systems, and social, environmental and technical sustainability. In addition, research and innovation projects and training programs on these topics will be developed to strengthen the capacities and knowledge of the country's professionals related to the environmental sector.
