The event was held at the Esther Festini de Ramos Ocampo Educational Institution Auditorium, in the district of Comas in Lima, Peru. Elizabeth L\u00f3pez, our Technical Coordinator, was one of the three panelists, along with Ecocert Peru and Engie Peru.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; background-color: var(--body-bg-color);\">The  workshop aimed to encourage more women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through the testimonies of the panelists. In Peru, female participation in these academic fields is less than 33% (SUNEDU, 2016).<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-669f6c1 gallery-cols--3 gallery-spacing-custom elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-image-gallery\" data-id=\"669f6c1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;ekit_we_effect_on&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"image-gallery.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-image-gallery\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-854675c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"854675c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;ekit_we_effect_on&quot;:&quot;none&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More than 120 high school senior students, teachers from the institution, company representatives from Ecocert and Engie, and the Peruvian-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the event. The agenda consisted of three key moments: the panelists shared their motivations for their vocational choices, the main challenges they faced in their training, and questions from the audience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>About Microsol<\/b><\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/2808133\/admin\/feed\/posts\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Microsol<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a Peruvian-French social enterprise, with more than 60% of women on the team, is committed to the continuous improvement of livelihoods in rural communities in Latin America. We aim to reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions from the source by using clean cooking technology. We manage two carbon certification programs in the voluntary market, Qori Q\u2019oncha in Peru, and Utsil Naj in Central America (Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras), both responding to 7 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Likewise, we manage the first ITMO Program (Internationally Transferred Mitigation Outcomes), of Improved Cookstoves (ICS) in the region, as part of the bilateral agreement between the governments of Switzerland and Peru, within the framework of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, currently  in the process of validation, aiming to respond to 12 SDGs.<\/span><\/p><p><b>About the Peruvian-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry<\/b><\/p><p class=\"translation-block\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">French Peruvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIPF) is a non-profit civil association. Made up of more than 100 companies, the Chamber of Commerce brings together both French and Peruvian companies.
